I echo that, hope it doesn't cost too much.

I had my own moment the otherweek
Had my first scare with it a few days ago

I only received one set of keys, kept meaning (as you do...) to get another set cut & an extra alarm fob.

We'd been out sto see about Riding-lessons for 'Small-Child'.
SWMBO had got out & I'd locked the door, 'Small-Child' was messing about, so clicked my door lock & walked round to get her out.
Swung door closed behind us, we walked in the house, bags down, coat off, kettle on.................

Where's the Landie keys??
"Amelia! Have you got daddys keys?"

Out I go to see them swinging gently in the ignition switch

So I ended up removing a window (almost too easily done) & reaching inside to open a door.

At least the glass went back without cracking (or leaking)

Thankfully Joanne had her keys with her as well, as I keep my house keys (via a spring-clip) on the same bunch

Still got to organise new keys though

That... Is... Worrying... Didn't the alarm go off?

The keys were inside, so the fob hadn't activated it

Most embarassing moment so far was when I got my Hilux stuck in a roadside ditch. Single track lane- I pulled over to let a van past and when I pulled away again I rammed a dwarf bridge wall hidden in long grass. The car was left front axle high & dry on top of the wall. I reversed the car off the wall but the car slid sideways down into the ditch leaving it well & truely stuck!

I rigged up some recovery strops and waited. Luckily the next passing vehicle was a Shogun who's driver managed to drag me out.

Not too embarassing I guess as there weren't that many witnesses.

..first outing in the fourtrak, i thought i was invincable, i thought i wouldnt get stuck in a peat bog...

.. i thought wrong!

had to be draggedout by a landrover(oh, the humiliation!)

in fairness mine had big wide road tyres, and an idiot at the wheel..

first words to recovery squad was "you see that pr*ck stuck over there in that mud hole?, well thats me! could you pull me out please??"
