In a bit of a quandry here guys/gals :? .
All set with camping gear, BUT......which do I choose :?:
A/ Drumclog....camping from Friday and playing all weekend in 1500 acres of mud/woodland/rivers/Mud & more mud?
B/ Driffield.....camping from Friday and buying needed bits for my 90 cheaper than shop/net prices/Beer/vodka/probably some off roading (but aint sure).
Could do both...but it would mean a 234mile trip on sat night  , dont really fancy that.
Suggestions Please.....

:D go play first then buy more bits later :D :D :D

Driffield aint that special to be honest. I wouldnt travel far to get there. It aint too bad for Me though.

Drumclog...
As said, Driffield is just another show... and a lot of 'Show Specials' aren't actually all that special anyway
-
Never been to a show before, its 234 miles from Drumclog to driffield, its a lot less from my home.
Are there other shows up this way this year???

DEFINATELY Drumclog
The site is huge... I mean really really huge. There is soft rutted stuff for those who like a challenge, and hard solid stuff for those not so adventurous. Is it the best off-road site in Scotland? Quite possibly so. Water, mud, grass, (sheep) and I'm sure we will organise a run or two to the off-licence for the evening entertainment.

i agree, break it before you go buying stuff!!

im going to go the other way,
buy cheap parts, the mud aint going anywhere.

True...
...but you'll miss the gathering! :(
But then having realised this month I have completely wiped out the financial advantage of giving up smoking by fixing the broken motor, I can sympathise with the cheap parts bit!

The cheap bits i was after are Wheels and 35" tyres.....my wheels are rusting severely and my 235/85 machos are going onto the ex-MoD 90. The reason for the 35" tyres is a lot more ground clearance and the fact i'll only be going to play days in the future, not any RTV or TYRO events.
