Note to self get heavy duty ones!!!
Mate spotted under the disco today when he was looking at the springs and noticed the rear n/s spring was half off its seat  The retainer bar was bent straight up on one end!
I wondered what the odd clonk was  The thing is this happened sometime on the road and not in the mud. At least I didn't lose it

One good reason not to use jubilee clips on the top of the springs to hold them in place unless you've got the H/D retainers on the bottom.
Glad someone spotted it before the spring went AWOL! :D

I think it was the jubilee clip that stopped it from going awol or boing boing. I'm just suprised that the jubilee had enough strength to hold the spring for the retainer to bend at a right angle! Top retainer and cones on the axle very soon!!
