My garage is at the back of my house ,also my caravan is parked up at the back aswell,I was working in the garage about midday, and the wife brought me a sandwich up, as I was eating it she came back to the garage and said, somebody is in the caravan ,Youre joking I said, no the windows open and somebody stuck there head out, so I grabbed a bar and headed to the caravan ,I banged on the side and heard a voice, I opened the the door and there stands a scrote about 20 yrs old ,so in I go, after a few questions , I thougt ring the police, WHACK I changed my mind , if they d have come a lot of questios ect and he d have probably been told off, so i thought he best have some good old fashioned Knuckle which he got, god my hands hurt, I sent him packing with a few cuts bruises and a thick lip, just got to hope no comebacks , dont know whether I have done the right thing but what would the police have done ?
-
that just what i would have done
just hope he dont come back for revenge and notes he got what he deserves
-
Yes but we ALL saw him land the 1st punch...didnt we!! ;)
also he verbally abused your wife, and threatened her...
then again - make sure the van is locked from now on.. as he and a few 'friends' may try and exact revenge,
Good on you tho' :D
-
just say he hit you first
hope you hit him good and hard
we had our van done by a junkie and they got his DNA from the top of a coke bottle and they nabbeed him and then nothing and we got stuck with the repair of the window
wish i got him like you
-
well done that man =D> =D> =D>
-
Exactly the right thing. Maybe not from a legal point of view, but from a revenge one
-
just keep ya eyes peeled Jas as he will be back....Statistics proove it..and he will want revenge..
but i would have gave him a good pasting as well ...
Paste him he will be back...shop him to the coppers he will be back no win really...
Just a [!Expletive Deleted!] the little sods carnt keep their fingers off
-
Well done that man =D> .
The little scrote should be thankful he got a slap and not a court case, next time use some thumb screws
-
Good man!
Ever thought of standing as a local Counciller?, if your solution to theft was well known locally, you'd end up as Mayor :D
I keep a 3 D-cell Mag-Lite by the bed, just in case the power goes off
However, if I hear any strange noises & don't want to scare 'Mr Burglar' (& receive a claim for trauma) if the Dog doesn't go for him first
I can come downstairs with it & if happen to trip & 'accidentally' hit him on the head several times with it, well it was just that; an accident
-
you should have made him empty his pockets and taken everything he had. Might even have got his address
-
good on yer
wish a few more people did it .then we might at last start getting some respect back into this country where we all live and love :D :D .
they just can't seem to wait to save up and buy there own
-
Well done. And at the end of the day you were acting in self defence. But if he comes back i was told by a policeman to drag a burgler upstairs and throw him out the window. and then call the police and tekk them you corneard him in the bedroom and he jump. its your word against his and the police will take your side. or at least thats what he told me :D
-
nothing beats a 40 kilo german shepherd running round your garden, plus one that will clear a near severn foot fence last time someone poked their head over the fence
oh the joy of owning a police dog - the best burglar deterant, oh and coupled with everyone knowing i'm old bill. yep can see you all running now.
-
Well done
-
Good on you. =D> =D>
BTW don't threaten to hit them or find an object. as that is considerd being a premeditated attack. so therefore you are in the worng. If you just hit the little sod without any question and being ' Provoked' then he's in the wrong and you don't get done for assult. :o
-
Good on yer! :P
Theiving little tw*t deserves every last fall down those steps  and how unfortunate that he landed on your baseball bat 14 times
You deserve a medal and you did just what i'd of done, apart from the little scrote wouldn't of walked out. He'd of had a strap attached to his legs and been pulled out by Hang Over, Then gone playing forgetting he was still attached
-
Well Done.
He deserved all he got
-
You should have sued him for hitting you repeatedly in the knuckles with his face ;)
Well done you, I know the law says we can't - but break into my pub and me and the dog will make you wish you hadn't. There's a line and if the legal system can't or won't enforce that line then we as citizens must.
-
spot on it is a sad fact that we are to affraid in this country to fight back.....mainly coz the chances are it is us that would end up in the doc!!!
just watch your back for them comming back they will probally come back in numbers to chicken to do it alone.............. wire the caravan up to the house mains for a few nights with a nice little shock waiting foor them on the handle!!!
either that or borrow a friends really big dog!!! just forget to feed him for a few days
well done mate
you did good!
-
Who says it has to be a big dog? Ours isn't big, but she's loud, mad and easily pee'd off, and it's not a good combination.
-
Just to cover your back, report it to the local plod as a break in - and say you chased him and he fell out of the van .....(should cover your back if he decides that YOU were in the wrong ) ;)
ps nice to know we have a sensible copper on the boards..
-
have to admit my kitten has left more scares on me than any dog ever has and she is tiny!!!!
-
I don't think our police force think any differently from us. Your average copper would sympathise with your actions, no doubt they would like to give a few cracks over the head to criminal scum bags but they are hampered but the nanny state laws.
If you are a police officer good on yer. (not including specials the wannabe robocops who get on my tit)

Nothin wrong with specials mate! two of my mates are specials and they do just as much when they are on shift as any reg except they dont get paid for it. They make arrests and work along side the regs appart from there warrent number starting with a 5 there is no difference oh yeah they do it for NOTHING
-
talking to a friend and he nabed a scrote and put him in the boot of the car and drove into the countryside and then gave him a good kicking and left him miles from any where
think it took him a few days to get home
-
Well I thought there maybe a few who would have done the same , left hand still sore ,but pride in tact, only regret I wish Id have bounced him around the garden a few more times.........
-
the old carpet grippers on your side of the fence is always a good deterent. fingers on top of fence to pull yourself over and your suddenly left thinking ouch something hurts, god knows its happened to me enough times chasing people over fences. got the scares to prove it
ps . specials do a cracking job, i won't do this job, face all the abuse being spat at, sworn at, beaten up and not get paid...
