Crawled under my 96 Defender 90 to try and see where the blanking plugs for wadeing need fitting and found this

and I couldn't see where I need to fit plugs
can anybody help? :?

Wading plugs screw into the bottom of the bell-housing & the cam-belt chamber.

The Bell-Housing is the lump that looks like a large half-sphere between the engine & gearbox
The belt housing is the bit at the front where the pullies stick out from that are encircled by the serpentine belt
I'll nip down to my 'snug' & dig out a Drivers Handbook & scan the relevant page

Does this help?

One good turn, etc....
I think I've got a spare pair in one of the tool-boxes.
If I haven't resolved the issue you PM'd me about, I'll bring them over for you next week, if you don't have any?

That would be excellent as the vehicle was bought 2nd hand and did not come with a tool kit hence no plugs.

I've done the job in hand this morning, but the plug's are yours
(or just PM an address & I'll put them in an envelope & stick them through your letter-box)
Might need to borrow when I do the front though :?
