Heres the culprit   . This pic is from the drivers side of engine (obvious to you mechanics "i suppose").
-
the pipe with your finger onit is the rocker breather pipe,if ive got time ill pop in on sunday when im on my way home
-
Its splitting from the bottom, working upwards. With engine running it seems to be bubbling droplets of oil (very small droplets), saying that.....I did not rev the engine, just had it ticking over.
-
Replaced the hose :D :D , hopefully it was that causing the oil leak.
-
your rocker cover gasket could also be leaking slightly but ill have a look on sun
-
probably doesnt help the fact he has a hand in the engine as well.
Probably a bodypart left over from the last bobblehat he ran down

  I wouldn't do a thing like that   .
That fresh oil you can see is over-spill from my oil change attempt  , i'll clean it up.
