Title: Paint Job
Post by: Guy90 on July 07, 2004, 08:08:11
I'm thinking of buying a pot of NATO Matt Black and repainting my 90 with it (and a gloss roller). To get a little shine on it I was thinking of getting a couple of cans of spray laquer and spraying on top.

Would this look nasty or lovely do we think?

If it's done properly that will give a brilliant shine with a real depth to it. (Metalics use a matt base coat with a clear laquer) Done improperly it'll look a t**t. You need to check that the two are compatible and don't react badly to one another before painting the whole motor too. 8)
