I'm hoping no Chobbham armour :)
I'm not sure how they did that though, surely they dont have the speed to roll?
-
the new ones do, they are classed as HETs ( Heavy Equipment Transporters) in theory they can carry 2 fully equiped chally 2's(i think) which is well over 100 tonnes, so not aloud to in UK. can not remember the name of the firm that builds them but i think it is OSH-KOSH?!!
-
thats a craav(recovery type challenger) on the back of that oshkosh, i bet it was not chained properly and the rider following should have spotted it moving  love to be in there RSM office when they get back

Some one is in for a very hard time after that. Probley only had a couple of chains on it and them new trailers are narrower than the old trailers so the tracks over hang . I remember when they first got them a challenger fell off it going around a normal bend at slow speed. And that was on trial and the army still bought them doh

I saw that on my local news. They said that the tank had slid to one side which made the lorry unstable and then turned it over.
also on my local BBC news they said a 81tonne crane was going to be brought in to lift the tank and lorry!!!
I would like to be in their shoes when they get back to the mess!!!

Oops, bit of a cock up there!
In their defence its a crappy roundabout, the surface is awful, its got potholes and ditches in it despite recent resurfacing so i bet that doesnt help with sucha big and heavy load.

If it was on a round about, yo wouldn't need to be going very fast to tip something like that, especailly if the road surface was naff and the load was unstable...still wouldn't like to be the driver when their superior officer has a word with him!
