well got my car back last nite from the nice chap who did my clutch for me :) woo hoo wat a differance that made ... even made me feel smug when he said he couldnt start her without jumper cables ;) i told him its all in the touch so i showed him as i described on the 3rd turn just on que up she fired :) drove home the end
went out this morning to go back to my parents house for the day and wat happens  starter motor decides its gona pack in after how long........ "i did honestly mean to do it dear"
so thats a record for me at least of having the car for less then a day and breaking summit .
just gotta wait till 1 now for shelltune to get the new one in and by then my thumb should have stopped bleeding enough to put it all back together
ps note to landrover ...WHYYYY did u put the bolt just there ???? lol

Please dont blame land rover, EVERY single starter motor I have removed has had at least one bolt obscured or coverd. This isnt just on cars, but also on vehicles like tractors where the stater motor is sticking out the side with no body work around it.
I suspect there is a law or tabo that if a engineer made the maintenace of statret motors easy they would be struck down by lightning, their liveing hoods ravaged by locusts and their family sold into slavery. In short all the worst parts of the bible.
