Title: who bought what at driffield
Post by: the loon on May 15, 2006, 18:38:06: Well as I ordered myself a new tubular bumper at driffield I was wondering what shiny bits(or come to that non-shiny bits)and pieces everyone elses who went spent there cash on

Should be about 2 weeks for delivery and will have some pictures posted soon as it gets fitted

Post by: sleeplessparadise on May 15, 2006, 18:40:48: I bought some stickers....hehe and Johnty missed out on the steering guard he saw cos he was too lazy to get it on the saturday and on the sunday they had sold out! Also got a few other bits but not for the landy.

Plus I also bought a camping heater on saturday as was so cold friday night then stayed up till 4am drinking on sunday morning so didnt dare use it in case I set the tent on fire in my drunken state.

I probably will miss Peterbog but i will be at billing. Sorry i missed You i saw L200ar and Kickstart among others on the Sunday before bailing out.

I bought a box of various size 'O' rings, a couple of shackles, an extension bar, large ammo box and 7 cans of WD40. :D

I wish I had not gone. I have been to it in the past and it was a cracking show, but since it has moved it has gone down hill. :cry:

I had a long list of things I wanted, but I could only find the shackles, as for the money I had taken with me, it got spent that night ordering the bits I wanted online from MM4x4 and Paddocks. I should have done this in the first place and saved myself a lot of wasted of time, effort and money. :x

This show is not going in my diary for next year.

I hate it with a passion. it is for the footwells of the v6, they are non existent at the moment :)

Definatly gone very downhill since Live Proms took over/robbed from LRO

I hope even less people/traders go next year teach Live proms to poach "Bring back LRO Spring Adventure"

The only good bit is the offroad course and you suffer for weeks from that claggy GOOO
