hi suzuki peeps, would there be much af a call for tubular winch bumpers for your sj suzuki, ive noticed a few around and considering going into manufacturing them for suzuki as well as the landrovers. i would imagine they would be around £160 for an all singing all dancing bumper with all the bits. any feedback would be appreciated.thanks

good idea if you can make them strong enough.

Whatever you do, dont just mount them thru the bumper bolt eyes on the front of the chassis. My old one was mounted there(no corrosion at all in the chassis!) and I pulled it off winching a stuck Landy.
Make sure it mounts further back as well. It seems funny now, but it didnt on the day.

nice!!!!!!!!!
will bear that in mind

I need a rethink then, thats where mine is mounted!!!

Id got a long wheel base landy tied to my X6 superwinch. My zook was tied to a Gwagen to hold it still, when all of a sudden theres commotion and arm waving up front. I jump out of the car and find the winch bumper folded downwards with the holes torn thru. Like I said, no corrosion etc or damage to the chassis ends.
You can imagine my surprise.........
Theres now a fully welded in and braced front cross member, with 8mm plate winch mounting feet welded in on that.
If I pull that off Im going home!
