Just wanted to vent my gratitude to all staff and members of Mud-Club :D , I'm so glad i stumbled across this site last October. Its you guys who have given me the inspiration (or is that "addiction" ) to carry on & see this whole thing through :D . Felt like calling it a day many times....but now....with your help and advice ive turned my wreck into quite an ok looking 90 :D
Special thanks to all of you who have given me priceless advice over the months (you know who you are), a big thanks to Muddyweb :D it was seeing a pic of your motor that got this whole thing started :D Cheers.

Have you thought about writing the whole story down for one of the land rover mags?
I'm sure they would be intrested when they see what you started with and where you are now

I dont have enough photo's for an in-depth write up, will definately get the mags involved with the chassis replacement and my next project.
Redlinemike......No.....I still need your wisdom.....my swivel ball is pitted and the man at the garage (rangerover fanatic) says dont replace it, use aroldite/Haroldite (cant spell) to fill pits then wet"n"dry it. He says it will last for years :!: , is this true :?: .
Thinking about front/rear winches so i can keep up with you, hopefully after the summer (i'm skint).

the araldite would do if it was a 101 cos the balls dont come off,its better in the long run to fit new balls if the current chrome 1's are leaking along with new seals,
just mind ive got an axle guard for you!! & i think ur gonna need it now

Thats a great looking 90 you've got there.
8)
And i agree too, this site is a great source of information regarding all things off road. Whether Land Rover or other, the information avalible (with a little patience for the replys to come) is outstanding.
Thanks for all the mechanics and enthusiasts that have the spare time to share their wisdom and thanks to the Admin team for hosting this 'hot bed' of knowledge.

That's a real nice looking 90, was wondering about a 90 project myself and I think that may have tipped the balance. Well done!
And I'd like to add my thanks to all as well. I stumbled across this place looking for pictures of Discovery vehicles via Google. I hadn't even got Elmo then, although I knew there as a cheap Disco for sale locally.
These forums have given me ideas, perspective and access to knowledge I would never have had in "real life" and I hope I can thank them by giving back the same in the future.
Cheers all (hic) :D
