Discovery versus Metro
Having aquired muddysteve,s old metro i,ve noticed a few differences between driving the disco and driving the metro
£10 worth of fuel in the metro = half a tank :D in the disco it dont get off the red :(
i cant straddle the kerb outside my house with the metro, it gets stuck on the kerbstone  as it grounds out
large potholes require careful avoidance with the metro also speed humps require me to slow down
dont 4x4,s look big when you meet them head on in a lane in a metro
pulling out of one junction near us you cant actually see over the grass on the verge to see whats coming in the metro

its actually quite strange to have a car that goes where you point it  and doesnt just drift casually into the corner

My 620 is like driving a go kart too. And I agree with all the kerbs and bumps etc except for the fuel. £10 in my 620 gets the needle to about a quarter. my 620 does 14p a mile. Not bad for fuel prices these days.
Both rovers are wonderful though. I love them both.

How about lifting the metro!

This Hyundai i'm driving is like the devils rollarskate!
Loads of nippy fun but so scarily small compared to *most* other cars!
