Sorry - its a load of old cobblers.

Has been floating round the ether for a few months now, along with the "ether perfume" chain letter.

If it's got "This is not a joke" on it, that usually translates to "Boswellox, its a chain letter"

However THIS  (http://www.streettactics.co.uk)is a little more scary

dont think its clever putting those kind of notices about with people with no lights on

be interesting to see if the car it came up to was a copper!

The worry with these hoaxes is that some thug picks up on them and they start really doing it.
It has it's origins in the States from quite a few years back.
I had one supposedly from the London Ambulance Service.

this was being circulated around our business by the HR dept .  

i have asked them to contact the police to check its validity - strangely no answers as yet!

Hi Dave,
The one I had from someone high up in those circles and they'd been caught out. It is plausible.
It would be a big problem if they really did start doing it.

We've had this in the department as well.
Keep meaning to show the Traffic Officers who come in if they can verify any authenticity
