great big steering lock,
secret switch to kill the pos on coil,
hidden battery isolator,
secret switch to kill luminition (if youve got it),
iam going to fabricate a bar to lock the high/ low lever into neutral,
some ideas anyway,
these wont stop determine thieves but it might slow them down.

hindge a plate on the floor and padlock it to the bulkhead to cover the pedals
or do a mr bean and take the steering wheel with you
-
if its a petrol, take the coil ht lead with you.

Stick a V8 badge on the rear and disconnect the fuel guage ;-)
Surefire way of making sure the little blighters think twice ;-)
...although you could put a diesel badge on the back and then no-one would even *think* of nicking it......

Wiree off the starter solenoid to a very loud siren unit, availble from maplins. For best effect tie it into the headlights too.
Nothing like a car going 'LOOK I'M BEING STOLEN' to send em running for cover. Specially if they've already got in and assumed no alarm Smile
that could be done through a relay set on a hiden switch real easy to do
GREAT IDEA Very Happy Very Happy

leave it unlocked as no one will nick it when they try to turn the steering wheel,
only ever had one bloke try nicking mine, it was left after about a foot as the bloke could not turn the wheel with his weak, thin arms, i gave him a good kick in after i saw the motor moving thinking the handbrake had failed
