Post by: PUX on May 29, 2006, 20:09:36
i have recently had my disco sprayed in poly  paint and the laquered with poly laquer which is used on planes, so i did as i was told and dont go off road for two weeks etc etc so the two weeks was up i went off road and now its scratched to hell, so i know i cant use t-cut as it will dull the poly paint so would plastic polish work????

Alas I can't help! My engineers said, & I quote....'No idea, we had this problem before....we tried T-Cut, although you're not really supposed to....it kinda worked but not really!'

Apparently the paint supplier was no help either!

Actually when you look at it....they were about as much help as this post!

Can't see getting offroad scratches a major problem for planes. Asked at work, got told why would you worry about a scratch in the paint on a Jag. You should only worry how the pilot got it there. Not much help, sorry.

Think I'd panic just a little if I saw a Jaguar coming the other way down a green lane
