Phew Phil. At least it got through.
Check your axle breathers are clear as a build up of pressure will blow oil past the seals.
Did anyone read in LRE (i think) about a bloke who tried to buy a disco but it had no MOT. The garage agreed to get it MOT'd and serviced within the asking price but when he went to pick it up he noticed that the mileage was exactly the same as when he looked 1 week before hand, and yet the MOT certificate came from a garage 15 miles away. He could also see the oil filter hadn't been changed so it clearly hadn't been serviced. Needless to say, he walked away.
Now that's a Robin' B........
I paid £30 for my MOT in May

I think I would have walked away as well. 30 squid I'm not going to the right MOT station.

£41 sounds like the official price set by the VI. Testing stations are able to charge whatever they want up to this as a maximum. I normally pay £25.
-
That's right,
£41.75 is the VI rate or at least it was last time I looked..
I pay £25 for my Tests.
