Like i posted to this question on another forum.............i was told its not good practise to power coat wheels.............if they crack or chip you will get water in and then the rot starts and you dont know obout it untill the wheel falls off
-
they will normally turn them around in a week. Richie i know what you mean but people have been powdercoating wheels forever...my bike wheels get some abuse from heavy handed wheelies..or is that cack handed?

Just the only difference there is............alloy vs steel........JMO.......my bull bar is powder coated and its too late to rescue it after the rot has set in.
-
if you put the powder on a good surface then you shouldnt have probs..if in doubt get it glavd/plated first

Hammerite em as its easy to touch up when chipped and scratched.

Thanks for all of the comments guys.
I didn't think that this would be such a contentious subject
I have had them powder coated so time will tell whether this causes any problems.
Thanks again for the input :)
