Just put new shocks and springs on the disco, and it still has a list over to the right. Is this a common fault and what is the answer ?.
Can anyone please help. :roll:

Check all the suspension bushes are in good condition as these can somethings cause a lean. :wink:

If I remember correctly, the standard front right spring is 1-1.5" taller than the left. This is due to engine weight being biased to the right.
Aftermarket springs don't appear to have this bias. :evil:

prop up the low side buy parking on a vitara that should level it and if not it will give you great satisfaction that you squashed the vitara ,white ones are the best :D :D :D :twisted:

You're correct about the standard OE springs being handed and IIRC Scorpion's springs are handed as well.
I've had 3 different sets of aftermarket H/D raised springs on the Disco, not one was handed on the front and I've not suffered a lean from any of them. :wink:

Sorted now was rear anti roll bar bushes shot.
So put it in the bin and disco is level now :lol:

You'd better keep the arb and just chuck the bushes. You'll need it for the next mot :wink:

that all depends mate as my mot inspector is ok with em being removed and i have heard many other people saying this :wink:

No need mate if it's not on the car it can't fail mot. Trust me i work with 6 testers all say the same thing.....

the mot regs state that if it should have an anti rollbar then it must be fitted but then not all modles dont have them so you might get away with it

DEFENDER ANTI-ROLL BARS
I was wondering whether you could help with the following, or put me in
touch with someone who can give advice? Some Land Rover Defender drivers remove or disconnect their rear anti-roll bars to help improve rear wheel articulation (indeed, a lot of Defenders don't have them fitted). But we've heard from a reader that the MOT rules are due to change and this would result in a failure. Is this correct? John Pearson, Editor-in-Chief, Land Rover Owner International magazine.
I am unaware of any changes to the MOT regarding Landrover Defenders’ anti-roll bars. In any event anti-roll bars are not Tested in the MOT so it is difficult to see how their being removed would have any effect. – MOTT.
