Title: Metal Finishers

Hello, is there anyone on here,?  that works for or know someone who works for a metal finishers.

I need a ali bumper cleaned and polished. have been quoted a figure between £350 to £500+ which is a little bit more than I can afford at the moment.

Might be worth a trip down to Canvey Island mate.  Theres a bloke round the corner does that sort of milarky.  I think he trades as J P Polishing.  He's done loads of bits for me, both polishing and powder coating.  Top bloke and he cares about customer satisfaction.

I'll pop in to him tommorrow and get a number for you if you want.

i purchased the mops from machine mart and some wet and dry for my fireblade frame ,it came up a treat :lol:  :lol:  takes a bit of time though

I found a site/forum that tells you how to do it, but just dont have (a) workshop/space (b) time.

And the guys quoted me a time scale of 10 to 15 hours work.  :shock:  at £40 an hour.

i was able to sit in the sun and ,it was well worth the time,did it over a few days ,removing laquer coating and making sure i didnt put deep scratches in the alloy :lol:
