to convert a p38 from manual to auto IMHO is a HUGE job  you would need the box,all the wiring loom
interior panels, the dash switches for putting it into low box,ecu etc
-
i no its a large job !!!
i was looking around to find a damaged or car thats being broken so that i can swap all that i need .
do u no if the auto box loom , ecu, joins to the engine ecu and will the manual loom will conect up , or am i gona need to change the entire wiring or the car ????
any other probs that u can think of be4 i start anything?
iv converted an auto renault clio to a manual before and thats easy , i no the range is a bit more complex tho

have a pop over to the P38 section on www.rangerovers.net there are some seriously knowledgable guys on there
I bet it would be an absolute nightmare and you'll no doubt need access to rovacom etc
I'd sooner just buy an auto but some like a challenge
