Well got a quote from Lancaster insurance last week for my new motor.
200tdi disco '92 plate
2" lift
265/75/R16 mud tyres
(lift and tyres are the only mods)
4 years no claims bonus and only 3 points on my licence with a declared medical condition.
Quote from lancaster
£2000
Called Adrian Flux exact same info etc
£265
How can one company give such an extortionate quote and one give something slightly more sensible :?:
Spoke to a few others and they gave fair quotes either that or wouldnt insure a modified motor which is fair enougth but £2000 - thats more than I'm paying for the car.
-
fire bond
-
they give stupid quotes cos they dont want to insure the car.
mine is 147.00 with adrian flux.

Would it not make more sence just to say that ?
Now I've posted about there over inflated quote how many people wont bother using them (also posted same on other forums) :?:
Ok not that many but it all adds up.
If you dont want to insure me just say you cant quote me

Dont bother ringing around put all your details on confused.com and wait for all to come back.
