i dont recommend using t cut as it contains amonia ,and in the sun it can leave stain marks... use a good cutting paste and polish ..frecla g3    ... looks nice though

its cheep £ shop stuff works well

thinking of covering the whole bus in holigram silver fablon dont know how it would wether though
got the reminance of glue from the fire stripe on the o/s and arround the roof cant get it off without damaging the paint so im going to cover it up with the holigram fablon for now

As wing nut says be carefull with T-cut as it can stain if not removed properly. Best thing to do is to give it a good wash and wax after which will neutralise the amonia.
Does make a difference though, especially on red which tends to go a bit "milky" with age.

Its amazing the difference it can make!  There is a pic of a golf I did on http://www.landyworld.co.uk/fadedredpaint.htm

Is it worth investing in a buffer of some kind if you have to do a whole bus?  Rather you than me! :D

if you really want to cheat - get some really cheap and nasty 'jif' type cleaner and use that...as long as there is a bit of 'bite' to it it'll still work...old guy i used to work with used to use tooth paste!!!
And the classic from a neighbour - i aint polishing my car too often it costs too much.....REASON ?? he had used about 5 tins of MR SHEEN!!!!

when i got married they used tooth paste to write on the paintwork of the white car i borrowed it baked on in the sun and when i washed it off the paint was like new
so you could still read the writing

T cut is OK if paint is well weathered but it removes a layer of paint so use sparingly. use a toothbrush to get the white residue out of the joins and from around the pop rivets and then give a good waxing.  You should only need to T cut once if waxed well and washed regularly using proper additive (not washing up liquid) should stay shiny for years

A bus ?
By hand ?

Think you've watched Karate Kid too many times "Wax on...... Wax Off!"

Argos have a couple of electric polishers under £20.
I bought the really cheap single handed one only to find they have cut the price of the two handled one.

Oh well
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7506693.htm

And if it goes up in smoke you just take it back and get another one, repeat until the bus is shiny all over.
