Hi Folks,
My Dad wants a small 4x4 as a winter motor, local run, logs, utility etc for use on tracks ,rural lanes & woods. He likes the Vitara and is buget is £1500 MAX !! Problem : He's got zero ability at mechanics so he's asked me to locate a suitable 'beastie'.
I know nothing about Suzukis and would like to know what to look for and also avoid.
All info greatly recieved.
Cheers,Rich :D

I bought a N reg Vitara 56,000 miles full service history, straight as a die for £1400 so keep looking in the papers and on web. Had no problems with it in the 10 months had it.

Mine is a 1997 P Reg with 87k on the clock, got it for £800 off Ebay, runs as sweet as a nut, just a bit of surface rust on wings.
So keep an eye out as there are bargains to be had and they are a great little motor.
Main thing to look for is rust behind the rubber arch trims as these tend to hold water against the bodywork - Bl**dy stupid idea !.
