Dunno, but it carries people - hence the doors, has big flappy window bits and tracks, other than that i have no idea!!

Doubt its a Warrior, could be a 432 Variant! What unit did you deliver or collect from?

Sorry, no offence meant!
Difficult to ID with all the bits off!
-
Ive been to MOD Donnington to pick up SA80's before!
Yeah, i reckon its a warrior, they weigh over 20 tonnes fully kitted up, but that is stripped down!
-
trust me guys its a warrior a 432 looks nothing like that when stripped  when fully loaded with ammo and weapons and kit plus 8 little darling squaddies plus crew its close to forty tonnes
-
Believe me its a warrior... the amount of paperwork i had to sign...all with Warrior and its is unit reg No. on was unbelievable.
stripped like that they weigh about 6 1/2 tonnes, fully built theyre about 20. had the smaller ones out in the car park..and one mother of a huge tracked vehicle... cross between a tank and a 101 - well weird!!!
Love to know what theyre made from, as its not steel....almost like aluminium when shotblast..had a good look round a rebuilt one while i was there -and I am Never going to complain about the driving position being cramped in a landy again!!! must all be midgets that drive em ;)

I was down your way saturday.. still never seen anything using the TANK CROSSINGS...went to Fordingbridge via salisbury, looked out for 'the cow' lol

-
I recon it is a Thunderbird!!!!!!!! :(biglaugh):

The material is Chobham Armour, and that's all I know about it. We make loads of bits for Warriors and FV430,s amongst others and all our local machining subbies hate the stuff with a vengeance.

I would have thought shotblasting Chobbham would be a bad idea. The armour is plates that are fitted IIRC and not the chassis material.

Looks like someones shot a load of holes in ya boat
