Title: IM good,but obviously not good enough
Post by: Xtremeteam on June 16, 2006, 19:43:54: a while back i recived an award for best motor vehicle apprentice to which i recieved a glass trophy thing & a certificate,

Well previous to that i had entered a competition in which i was against other people from different colleges,well that time i finished 4th,

This time however i finished 2nd,collecting Ã‚Â£100 prize money & a paid meal etc,

However i am rather miffed i missed 1st place & Ã‚Â£150 by 1 point :evil: :evil:

Unlucky mate but hopefully you will find something better soon. You were on about low wage & unpaid overtime the other day so you are probably better off somewhere new.

Bloody hell Mike, the garage manager must be a right numpty to let you go. I'm positive you'll get something else very soon with you're q's and the awards. Good luck!!

I agree, looks like some garage somewhere will inherit a good mech, wish you lived down here

so not to pleased :evil:

Mate of mine runs a garage in Dunoon - I can have a word if you fancy moving to the posh side of Scotland ! :wink:

My dad had a real struggle finding suitable applicants when he was last looking.

Unfortunately he's sold the garage now, so I can't directly help!

Post by: disco dod on June 28, 2006, 13:01:10: am on the look out localy for a job for you too mike. i said to dingbro dave to keep an eye out and i'l have a word with snap-on and mac tools when they come in. pitty i didnt have the money to start up ma self. i get a bit sick of having a boss at times and i know how well you work out in the field (fixing that hub on sunday)
