Does anyone know what happened to Steve Marlow (Ed Cobley's Co driver) i over heard his Wife (Rachel) on the phone at rockingham landrovers,

this is all i heard
but i would like to know how, when and where it happened

Is this the Ed Cobley of LRO?
-
100ft drop... Jebus.
Hope the guy makes a full recovery, that's nasty.

It happened on a challenge event last weekend. Both Steve and Rob were quite badly injured, but they are both recovering now.
Their vehicle rolled a number of times on a stage. There were 3 or 4 rolled vehicles that weekend.
The quality of roll cages is being discussed elsewhere on the forum... this is why bits of scaffold tube just aren't worth bothering about... the outcome would have been much worse if they weren't as well prepared.
Our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

just to put everyone at ease, we're both ok, Steve's jarred his neck, so he's resting it easy for a few days as a precaution, I'm back to normal(whatever that was!)
but a good rollcage is a good investment thats for sure!

Glad to hear your all ok, sounded nasty.

pleased to hear that you are all ok.
may I ask how it happened?

we were manouvering on a side slope, when the front slipped then gripped, we went over a few times, stopping on a track, roll cage performed perfectly, we'd been going well until then, would have won for sure!(but they always say that don't they!!!)

Yes the Ed Cobley of LRO
-
Ed is more involved with his Dad Vince. They both appear in Lro very often but i thought they did their own 4wd training thing and lead trips for Lro.
-
yes they do the Land Rover Experience at Rockingham Castle, Eds missus works for one of the Land Rover Mags

Glad to hear you are as fully recovered as you can be.
NOW all you need to do is to borrow someone else's Vehicle ( with roll cage of course) and get back out
