Title: RR sport in short supply!
Post by: beast5680 on June 17, 2006, 15:57:54
recently a guy i know went to part ex his td5 in for a disco 3, whilst talking to one of the mechanics he was persuaded to have a diesel range rover sport as they are far superior apparently so he plumps for a sport and as luck would have it the dealer has one in stock.
The day of collection arrives and no sooner has the guy driven it to the gate of the dealers yard he is flagged down by the salesman who offers him what he paid +6k if they can have back
turns out they want to sell it on ebay as now its registered its classed as "used" and they reckon they can get 70k for it as there is a 10 month waiting list

How many people with 70K who are actually gonna pay, and not try and rip you off or have a free test drive are going to be buying through ebay.......

Still if a dealer offered me that then i'd seriously consider it :)
