hope some one can help me ,
my td5 disco seems to have got a strange wobble/judder.
it happerns when braking from about 50mph down to about 30mph.
when you brake you feel a wobble/judder up threw the steering wheel,
but no judder threw the pedal.
i thought it may be the wheel balance, or may be the steering damper?
any ideas?
-
Possibly the front brake discs are warped.
(If the pedal vibrates it's usually the rear discs that are warped).

Have to agree
And.... http://www.mm-4x4.com/Shop/0130.htm
or

Both from http://www.mm-4x4.com/Shop/index.htm
At that price its worth changing them to see. Takes about 10 mins a side. but change pads as well!

thanks for the advise.
i changed the discs and pads about 5k ago,got them from m&m.
could it be a faulty disc or discs?
-
Yes, it could be
I also changed all of mine about 4k ago from the same supplier. No problems yet but I will keep an eye out

ill have to try new discs, can i use my pads as they have only done 5k?

at the cost involved you should replace the pads as well.
