Hi ay all
Went on a little laning today, same route same ford - West Acre near kings lynn, plenty of on-lookers - quess what ! There I was on my ownsome (albeit with daughter - now looking very embarrest) siting in a slightly damp series 3 looking very silly in the middle of said ford.
Went up to local farmer for a tow - he couldn't beleive I got a landy stuck in there! but said he'd come for a donation to a local charity of a tenner, but said I'd be ok as I'd been away 10 minutes just turn key It'd start - yeah right said I knowing the exhaust to be under 6 inches of water - He was right it did - ain't landy's wonderful things....I'll go slower next time, me and my dam ego!

..although I did enjoy my paddling, lucly just had shorts and sandles on, oh I love summer...

I know I shouldn't, but.....

And the water is about as low as it can get right now! Went through one near Shropham yesterday and it was dropping off the edge of the concrete surface. Normally it is about a foot deep even in dry weather. The depth gauge goes to 1.9 metres!
