Get yourself up the Corrieyairack Pass, it's not far from Fort William. It's blocked off at the western end but that just means twice the fun as you will have to drive it both ways but allow 4 to 6 hours to do it both ways.

Let us know the dates you'll be in Stornoway and I can take you around some of the places on Lewis & Harris, provided I'm not working that is.
Still, it's light enough to go playing until after midnight anyway!! :D
Speak to Duncan Brown for Skye and he has a nice B&B you can stay in as well!! http://www.dalriadaguesthouse.co.uk :D
For the Mainland side then Karloss is your man at Fort Augustus.
There's not too many lanes in Scotland as we don't have RUPPs or By-ways up here so it's a case of who you know really.
Drop me a PM with the dates.

Hi Neil
Saw your message if you need a place to stay on Skye you can always book in at our B&B and stay the night. This is a very posh establishment, any resemblence to faulty towers is purely coincidental.
There aren't any green lanes as such up here but I can show you a few stone tracks that have some fantastic views. Skye is well worth a visit, you'll love it. And you're just a short ferry hop over to see Budgie on the outer isles.
