that can looks cool, bet it sounds the nutt,s looks like you have load's of room in the engine bay to fit a fan in that position is the engine a long way back into the bulkhead or have you extended the bodywork forward.

Which was pretty much a 90/110/Defender front end with a slightly differant grill.

It's just how I see it, the 90/110/Defenders have the slot Grille (Like Lucifer's) where as the Stage 1s had a Mesh grille like you've got on.

Damn damn and damn again...
I've been avoiding looking as I can't afford just yet.
Can you do me some piccys / measurements of how close the passenger side manifold is to various fixed points please.
I've pulled my jag lump out and replaced it with a V8 ...one of the few things holding up progress is the exhaust issue. My lump I suspect is a little further back... could you measure the gap from the back of the front cross member to say the foremost edge of the sump too please.. I suspect I may need to bring the transmission and engine forward again but would like to avoid it if at all possible.
I guess this is a one off exhuast?

yep one off, the manifolds end just flush with (above) the big cross member. i took it to matey at exhauste place and said ' sort that out mate, tuck it up as close as you can', and thats what he did.
its quite close in places, i think i may need to wrap it in exhauste cloth to keep the heat down.
