Audi have pulled it off? GET IN!!!!

Hoping this would happen, I watched the R10 absolutley destroy Sebring and shut them Americans up about Diesel Power.

Somehow I knew Audi would be the first to do it, if anyone had an Audi Diesel then they'll know they really are some of the best derv engines on the road at the moment

Went to watch Le Mans again this year.

The Audis were undoubtedly quick but not loud enough.
They just went Vrooooooooooosh like a Cross Channel ferry at 160mph.

Nice and sunny though and the Hawaiian Tropic girls were as ever drop dead gorgeous.  One day I'll make the effort to find out what Hawaiian Tropic is and maybe buy some.

Its been bandied about on the Audifans site for a while, we all knew it was comming but I dont think the result was expected to be this clear.

With the R8 on the way to  being a road car and their imminant return to WRC looking like a good year for them.

Audi deisels are heavilly managed which while it makes them superb performers and econmical on the road they are seriously hydrophobic. I for one wouldnt want to try a ford in one deep enough to immerse the engine.

That said I still want a 1.8TDi in the zook :)

Wish i had gone again. I went last year for the first time, thought it was awsome.

Managed to make it to Mulsane after 30 mins of swearing at brambles and bushes. Ity was well worth the effort. The noise was incredable, we were no more than about 15 ft away from the track, probablynot the safeset place to be stood but i would recommend it to everyone!! Just do it at night and don't get caught!
