Hi All
I'm posting this on behalf of Derek Cole
STOLEN! Please print this page and keep in your vehicle.
'A1 NTF'
My new Disco after only 20 minutes of ownership!!!!!!
The vehicle stands out, it is very black. Metalic Midnight Black paintwork, matching black alloys, wide tyres, tinted windows. All windows and lights are marked with the registration number. The only defect on this vehicle is that the Discovery radio/CD has the number 2 preset button missing.
It is a Series 1 GS automatic 300 TDi
I picked it up at 09.15am and at 09.30am stopped on a deserted Lincolnshire road, I had walked only 5 paces from the vehicle when it was driven off.
The creep who took it is described as mid 20s, male, white, wearing a white tee shirt and red Baseball cap.
If you see it, or are offered any parts from it, or know who either took it or handled it. Please call your local police or Humberside Police on 01482 326111 quoting Crime number BF/912301/03.
Thankyou
Derek Cole

It's a bit sad that there are nearly 200 members on this forum but only 50 or so have bothered to look at this item :( .

I know. hubbs says there's a new web site for stolen vehicles; I must ask him where so I can let hobgoblin know.

I noticed in the latest, October issue, LRe that they have added a "Theft Alert" panel to their web site. I have not checked it out but it says if you e-mail to 'matt.wills@landroverenthusiast.com' giving details, picture, police force reported to, theft report number and contact e-mail they will post it on their site.
Hope it helps.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain quite how this happened.
Did he get out to relieve himself and leave the engine running?

as original posting says he walked 5 paces on a deserted road.
to me thats walking to the front or back of the vehicle

del,
You helped me out so much when my gearbox went bang up at Langdale Quest last year and now this happens to you,
It just goes to prove that there is no justice in the world.
I truly feel very sorry for you.
I hope the keys were not in the ignition.........If they were kiss goodbye to the insurance cheque.
I'll keep an eye out in London for it.
GARY.

Hey, sorry to hear about the new purchase. Can't think of anything worse.
I have printed off picture, and will keep my eyes open for it in Milton Keynes, should it ever show up!
Good luck.
