Title: 2.5N/A

What sort of speeds should I expect from a 2.5n/a in a series 3 with a series 3 box.

It's not really a case of speeds if it is good working order.  I would imagine both the 2.25 Diesel and 2.5 N/A Diesel to give similar top speeds, due to the rev range and gearing.  However, if you're having a hard time getting above 50mph on the flat then something will be seriously wrong (unless you're hauling a really heavy load).

Both a good 2.25 Diesel and 2.5 N/A Diesel should get a Series up to around 60mph (maybe 70 if you're lucky) flat out with an overdrive.

As with my works defender 2.5N/A........you can expect cyclists to overtake you on hills      .

Mine has a top speed of around 65-70mph thrashing it on flat ground, 20-30mph uphill (depending on how much of a run at it ive got beforehand).

Just adding in that a 90/110 with the 2.5 N/A will go a lot slower when climbing hills due to them being a lot heavier than a Series.

According to Gps...

Flat run on a motorway: 65mph flat out
Cruising on a motorway: 55mph

Uphills: 30mph

although ive been on one hill where i had to to stop and start again in low range. But then so did all the other tdis with me
