Saw a land rover all wrapped up at a petrol station on friday evening, so assumed it is a new model that hasnt been released yet as the only bits on show were the number plate and lights.
Got the reg, but put it in to the dvla website and said "vehicle could not be found" :? thought that wouldve been the way to find out what it was!

Might be the new freelander still in disgue even though it has been released to the press :?:
Who knows? :?

Or it could have just been a new car delivery for a Customer. When I did my Work Ex at an Audi dealer they wrapped them up like that to protect the body until a couple of days before the owner collected.

New freelanders have been going up and down the M40 for about 6 months.. usually in packs of 2's, and usually being chased by a RR..
look a little longer than the current freelanders, and a bit chunkier, supposed to have a D3 type front end too.

Have seen the new freelander in the LRO an have to say it looksd mint. Will definately be considering it as a company cae when I get chance

Audi (and others) wrap their cars in white protection stickers.
Development cars are usually masked in matt black stickers.
It masks the shape
(so they say)
I remember seeing a Ford Focus 6 months before it came out.
The masking was brilliant, it never gave any shape away.
I was following in a truck and could see through the rear and side windows (in traffic) and the Ford badge was visable on the steering wheel.
I guessed it was a Escort replacement.
:D
