if you're reasonably handy with spanners theres a lot you can do yourself. the only bits i would suggest you leave to the pro's is the high pressure fuel piping.

But it needs to be certified and checked, so unless you do a full install yourself and just have the certification done for you at a proper installer then you might as well not bother and get them to do it all.

I bought my kit from Wains Classic Rebuilds and up to press they have been great, I just need to get it finishes and then get it certified.

If you've already got modified insurance, don't bother with cirtification. Get a mate with an engineering degree to right a report, that'll be good enough. I know this because me an my mate merv did it an he wrote his own report. Insurance company said thats fine. Turned out to be cheaper than standard insurance on his 03 laguna.

I had my 90V8-CSW converted at Northern Autogas.
I don't know if they're still operating though?
They were on the road from Heckmondwike that goes up past 'The Shears' & the Mandarin (or it was)
(ask Aunty, or cousin, they'll tell you  )

Sorry to put the cat among the pigeons but I fitted nelly's myself.I informed the insurance N.F.U. They had no problem (Mind you I didnt tell them i fitted it,I will admit)And it went trough the next M.O.T. and consiquent ones o.k.And one of the garages offered to do the right paper work to keep everyone "happy" So I suppose the point is dont rush to hand over the folding
