Post by: old joe on June 28, 2006, 21:47:08
All

I had to spend a night in Milton Keynes General Hospital due to severe case of tonsilitus comibined with a bad fever.

for somebody who hadn't realy eaten in 3 days bangers and mash from this hospital was food fit for kings.

The care i recieved yet again from the Ambulatry Care Unit was priceless nothing was 2 much effort good friendly banter.

another patient was brought it in and mentioned it was like being treated like a private patient.

so Big thanks and lots aprreciation to the Staff at MKGH ACU team.

and Kaz for looking after me at home

from a old joe who was actualy sick.

Yep. I was a gust of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for a couple of days last week.

OK it was only a short stay but every single member of staff I came into contact with was caring, friendly and professional. A fantastic bunch of people.

Spent a week in Selly Oak Hospital in April Last year. Ate like a King !
Have been to physio at least once a week since at their therapy centre and could wish for better support in my recovery.( Trapped my hand in a machine a work. Needed a skin graft on the palm of my right hand. A right mess !!)

Thanks to everyone who looked after me.

We're being ravaged by an insiduous plague at the moment.

It's threatening to decimate most of the staff.
If it takes hold to its full extent, it's estimated that a 1000 staff members could suffer as it spreads over the 4 Hospitals we consist of

The name of this parasitical plague?

BTM

its not just happening in the NHS it's happening every where my my old mate

to many managers not enough ground staff.

Manager's for managers just in case you missed out on a manager for that manager who may manage staff who then may need another manager for them.

and it's the staff on the ground who are suffering and getting the stress and getting sick due to this managers who think that they are in important in reality they're not we just get them there bonus and our P45's when the task is done
