Has anyone here done a trailer from a rear tub?
Pros or cons ?
how did you attach wheels etc?

Some are done with a suitably shortened 'tub' & half-chassis, then an 'A-Frame' welded on
However the end product will be heavy & definately require brakes, asotherwise you'll have b****r all load capacity before hitting the 3/4ton (750kg) limit for unbraked trailers

800 quid is a bit much for me  :shock:

I was thinking of a lighter box frame and peugeot axle with adapters for LR wheels, the pug axle has spenshun all in, brakes if required  and 4 bolts per side to mount it, nice an simple.
