Hi all....I need to find somewhere that sells Windhoek beer and a decent supplier of Biltong near Northampton...can anyone help?
Our supplies are running low and another trip out SA way is not the cheapest way of topping up :-)

But they don't seem to list Biltong.

I make my own Biltong; not bad for qa pommie really?
I brought a proper Biltong maker but wouldn't do it again; an old computer case is just as good.

right i have to ask
who or what is biltong :?:
-
Biltong is South African dried meat (mainly beef or game) marinated with rock salt, coarse black pepper, coarse ground coriander, and vinegar and then dried. Biltong can be made in long strips with the grain of the muscle, or flat pieces cut across the grain.

Theres one near Oxford called Farmoor Stores thats usually got a good stock of Biltong, beer and wine. Not cheap but cheaper than a flight and if you want something in particular he can usually order it for you.
While I was hunting for a phone number or website for Farmoor stores I found this list which might be handy.
