Does anyone know if 18'' alloy wheels off a
53 Registration Range Rover TD6 Vogue will
fit a 2000 TD5 Discovery...?
The rolling diameter is the same.
But is the stud spacing the same...?
-
More than likely; they'll probably be the narrow 5 stud pattern that features on TD5 Discos, Freelanders, etc. Also, given that you can get an adapter which changes the stud size from the large 5 stud pattern (Classic RR's, 200/300 Discos, etc) to the narrow one I can't think of any reason why they would be a different size.
If all else fails pop down to your local LR dealer and check them out with a tape measure!

Chris,
Thank's for the info, I will pop down the local dealer with a tape..
-
Paul,
If you want you can come and try them on my TD5. Although I may not let you take them off again if they fit
-
Simon,
Thanks for the offer, They won't look right on yours...
Off to the local dealer tomorrow with a tape measure.. :D

The new style (BMW) Range Rover has BMW wheels ( yes they will fit an X5), the PCD is the same as your TD5 as is the stud, however the bolt counter bore in the wheel is too small to used Disco2 and P38RR wheel bolts ( or those from the new Disco, you need BMW ones).
Also the hub fitting is larger 72mm dia, compaired to 70mm dia on the Disco2 / P38RR, you can get spacers - John Craddock's do them for £10 each, however I hope to have some available in 2 weeks time for £5 each.

So that's why you wanted to know.
Devious or what

Aye, I did wonder why myself, all's been made clear now

No nothing devious about it, Dad was asking me about it,
After I took my new one round to show him....
He is a little anoyed that mine is newer than his and asked me
about fitting 18'' Alloys rather than his 16''...
