Err, very very slow. What sort of gas system are you using?
-
id guess atg about 750 rpm, thats what my 3.5 SU petrol runs at
-
it depends on many things
the age of the system and type of system
the engine temperature.the tickover changes once the engine has "warmed up"
the multi point systems are more consistant than the old cooker ring type.
DUCK is powered by LPG only so when the engine is cold the tickover is less than 400rpm,once the engine is warm this rises to just over 600rpm.the system in use is the old cooker ring type.it wont be changed as it works fine and we(duck and me)know its limitations

You mean a draw through system then. These have no input from the ECU at all, whereas mulit pojts often piggy back from the EFi system so give much more accurate fueling. Draw through relies more on the driver to use the system on a warm enbgine as when cold the regualtor can freeze up.
