Title: crank pulley puller
Post by: Dave J on July 06, 2006, 17:45:27
I’m after a puller to remove the crank pulley on a 300tdi disco, has any body used these from Machine mart, they look a bit cheap but if they do the job who cares!

Should be ok for the pulley (I have used one on a FT pulley)but if you need to take off the crank timing gear you'll need 3 extra bolts (cant remember what size they are though)

Thanks for that will pick one up next week.

Out of interest why do you need to drain the coolant to do the timing belt on a 300TDI?
With the belt and pulleys removed there is plenty of room to get the front plate off.
