I am looking at several 90s for playdays etc
Which should I get a 3.5 V8 or a 2.5 NAD ?
I am favouring the V8 as I wont use it every day and It should have more power offroad
-
My next one is gonna be a V8 :D .
Such an awesome sound, even thinking about dropping a V8 into Trug as i only use it about twice a week to run into town.
Only downside with a V8 is if you submerge it in a river.
-
v8 for imediate power and a diesel for torque
i voted v8 wot do you know so did everyone else
-
Going to look at the V8 later
It has a winch bumper, rock sliders and guards + other bits 8)
The 2.5 is nice but I just love the sound (especially after I mod the exhaust) :D
The insurance is 60p more for the V8 ! :?
I will let you know later which one I choose
I only want one for playing and to base my prducts on so I may have a winch bumper and rock sliders available soon !!

Only voted for the petrol as it was only for play so fuel consumption not an issue
-
MPG is not really an ssue as We have an everyday car .
If it was I would choose the NAD .
I should be able to get the V8 a few hundred cheaper too ! :D
-
tuned diesel & still does 20mpg
-
Got a 300 Tdi in the rangie.
I just fancy te V8 90 for playdays and making parts
-
V8 every day of the week. 2.5 na in the 90 so so slow .
-
Gotta be V8! 8) Just... water proof it well!
-
I dont plan to do much "wet" stuff but will be covering leads etc anyway just in case I see some water and cant resist
-
Yes, it's got to be the V8. The sound of them and the instant acceleration is just so good. I ruin my fuel consumption by always using kickdown to overtake, even when I don't have to  It's the pushed back in your seat feeling :D :D

tuned diesel & still does 20mpg
boooooooooo
V8 good,
diesel bad, (no matter how tuned)
i like that, "3.5 litre, wow" as everyone looks under the bonnet.

If you have an early Jeep you can fit an AMC 401 (6.6L). =D> Now that's WOW! The 360 (5.9L) is a more common retro fit over here though.

Well I've gone for the V8.
Knocked him down a bit due to slight fault on transfer box.
Picking it up tommorrow so will post pics then.
Shame its got a new exhaust as I plan to mod it

Diesels are great when they have turbo's and intercoolers...ruling out the NAD.
Out of them even an oil-burner-lover like me would take the V8
