In a word: Yes. Assuming it's solid underneath and the Engine is in good knick it's value should be somewhere close to double that.

As above, but it will need some work for an MOT so allow for this in the price.

its the four door like estate one it good condition couple of scrapes here n there engine is mint no smoke at all drives good never hardly went past 3rd gear! used in private grounds only to carry things only! looks solid underneath aswell.  might sell my pajero and give this a go, i like landies cos there good for parts and easier to get bits for than mine!  :P
whats the 110 like off road though? arnt they too long? sort of like the lwb pajero,s?

You'll get a lot of people saying that the 110 is not good off road, but the truth is they are compromised very little, and a good driver can make up for that dis-advantage.

At £1000 in that condition it is a steal, I payed more than that for mine and it smokes a little. Go for it, even if you don't like it you are almost guarnteed to make a profit selling it on.

Both our 110's get off roaded, only ever had one problem due to lenght and that was in a sharp turn on an off road course amongst trees, aside from that they go anywhere (and can fly, I have the video).

I can put my 110 everywhere a 90 goes and more. You may have to do a shunt to get round some places but its better having the longer wheelbase for going up steps.

Doesn't mean anyone hasn't dropped a N/A in if it went pop.  No need for a TD if it is just doing local based work.

It's worth near that in Parts assuming it's Semi Solid so there really is little chance of loss in this one.

More pratical as well, you can fit twice as many people (nearly) or just loads more stuff.

Yes

Thirded. I would only buy a 90/88 if I was doing an extreme off roader, in all other situations the extra room in a 110 more than makes up for it's shortfalls (or is that longfalls ).
