even though they are both there it might be worth checking they are adjusted correctly, did anything get damaged when the gearbox was removed and was it o.k before the clutch??

just a thought

I have had to put a lt77 box in as the R380 was shot and i couldnt get a spare :?  :? So was te easiest option at the time ..just had to change the speedo on the lt77

The 2 big coil spring you see are to make the gearstick centre sprung ie between 3rd and 4th.  SOme =boxes have bigger springs than others but that's another issue.

Reverse has a little plunger at the LHS of the selector housing which in turn operates the pushrod for the reversing light.  Is this goosed?  Do your reversing lights work? stay on all the time maybe?

There is an adjustment of the clearance to this plunger when in 1st gear that is made using shims under the housing, it allows just enough clearence without rattling.
