Roll over?
Are you not the chappy who went on the ferry with it all loaded up just the other week or am i getting confused?
-
Yep we went on the ferry. That was the first major outing since the repair work was completed. Did 1000 miles no problems had a great holiday.
-
Aah, i thought for a minute that you had rolled it on holiday
-
May I ask how you managed to roll a 110? I know about Centre of Gravity and the fact they are shaped like a 2-Bed semi ect... but I don't reckon I'd get Lucifer to go fast enough to roll...

Hmm I used to think that. The beast was doing a full lock right hand turn into a shallow water hole. The ruts into the hole were quite deep. The driver. (NOT ME) expected the steering wheel to self center....it didnt and the beast went up the side of the ruts to the right and then tipped onto the left side. Moral of the story...... Dont ley anyone drive ya motor. Unles thay thay have loads a cash. Fortunatly no one hurt and damage not as bad as you might think....Got some pictures of that bad day in the gallery. All happend very slowly and a relativly low speed. A hard lesson learnt that day. Still I have learned alot and no real harm done!
-
considering it went on its side the damage doesnt look too bad in the pics but its looking good now
-
Glad your sorted and looking good.
We recently had a LWB Pajero go over onto its side in slo mo due to an extra hole just over the lip of a steep descent
Apart from losing 50 litres of petrol the car was undamaged.

Land Rovers don't look right unless they've got a few dents in them. I ran over a stick that flicked up into the wing on my works LR, nice big dent. it was only a week old then
-
looking good mark :D
-
Dont worry the replacement wing had a dent fitted as standard. From the poor donor defender....RIP.
