Another prat nearly loses his car to the sea! Good old land rover, not much else would drive home after that! :D
-
Whether he should have been there, known better than to get stuck, etc etc is overshadowed by the fact the man couldn't even be bothered to thank the blokes who pulled him out :x :!:
Must make them feel great.....
-
There are definately some ignorant so & so's out there hope he ain't a mud-club member.
Just another one to give 4x4 drivers a bad name
-
Southport life boat isnt even RNLI funded. Its a team of volunteers funded purely by donations.

And I'll prepare to be shot down in flames here, but dont you have to modify the axle breathers on a Disco to go wading ?
If you do towing a boat home with 50/50 oil and sea-water would have fairly terminal results on things.

Nice to see that "the commander" is not trying to run up some anti 4x4 hype. . But thing the disco owner is a pratt of not at least saying thank you. If it was me and its was my fault the least i would do is say thank you and give them a donation
-
moron.
would be nice if if someone name dropped him to the paper.
Idiots like this should be made to cover costs of rescue.
At least on the bright side his interiors ruined and as mentioned its going to be prty time for the timworm in his chasis
-

Nice to see at least a few pro 4x4 responses at least. I particularly like mikeloafs replies, now I wonder who he might be? :D:D
Those sands can be pretty bad, I towed a vw gold out of some soft stuff last week, tide wasnt quite as far in then though!
Cheers,
Mike
