Ok bear with me here.....................i have a 1985 90 county and i believe i am starting to get problems with the rear suspension (lots of clunkings) so i am thinking if i am going to do some work on said suspension i might aswell bang a lift kit and some polybushes in...............now, the bleedin list of possibilities is endless!!!!
I am not into extreme offroading in this landy just some greenlaning and treks to the beach so.....what do i go for and do i need to figure anything else into the equation like them thingumies that the shock bolts too shaped kinda like a traffic cone (you may of worked out by now i aint the most technically minded person on gods planet but i can take broke stuff off and replace it with new stuff) also if i go for a polybush kit (i was thinking the bearmach blue from devon 4x4) do i need a special tool to press out the old bush and replace with news???
cheers for bearing with me and thanks in advance for your knowledgeable and informed responses

I am getting blue ones from MM4x4 tommorrow.
I have them on the rangie and reckon them to be good value.
You prob need new shock bushes on the rear ?
Money no object I would get OME .
They are dear but last and perform !
Few mates have them and regulary compete .
I know D44 run them on their trucks .
-
just fitted rangie red/white springs to a mates 90 along with procomp Es9000's,lifts it 1 1/2 inch ish & allows plenty flex
-
Are those the rangie H/D police spec ones as I found them a little stiff on my rangie !
Cheap though at £60 but add shocks, turret rings etc and your not a million miles off +2 blue'ies
-
hehe
the +2 yella ones which AFAIK are the same as the blues bar the colour are gash offroad,
Trug has them fitted to his 90 with the same shocks as myself,
mine flexing

i got to the top of the banking & he got most of the way up but not as far,
Oh if you need to get turret rings your a touch course on removal, you dont need front cones & also the front spring retainer bars are awaste of £ IMHO
suitable springs & shocks & all the other gash can stay of the motor,if you need it fit it,if not save the ££
(all the above is MHO)

Workshop manager at MM4X4 said blues and yellows were made in same factory in OZ !
Not sure myself !!! :? :? :?
I went for blues as have ythem on rangie.
Went for cones as getting LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLong shocks later and new retainers as old ones are knackered.
its down to budget and requirement per vehicle.
I got what I need for my truck other may need more or less. :)
