I'm looking into making aluminium storage boxes to fit the entire boot of the RRC, it would be around 3" maybe 4" high and cover the boot space with an assortment of compartments for tools/ropes/shackles etcetc. I'm thinking of a shaped frame with individual shaped boxes to suit, all made to fit jigsaw style. I though initially of a long rectangular tray which would be on rollers to slide out and could also be used as a table etc but thought of the wasted space either side of the box due to it fitting between the arches. The other thoughts were the slide out tray with fixed boxes either side. Anyone ever made anything like this or have any ideas? . I'd also like to post some pics of my ideas but need a pointer as to how to post them please.
thanks

I have a Mobile Storage System drawer fitted in the back of my Defender 110 station wagon.
I changed from a Defender drawer and security box to a TD5 drawer so that I didn't have problems accessing anything I wanted/needed under a lot of gear.
So..
Also look at..

I might have some sketches of the Outback drawer if that would help.
